Young girl, 12, found

A 12-year-old girl who vanished from a property south of Brisbane has been found safe and well.

Her family had reported her disappearance to police after they had not seen or heard from her since late Sunday afternoon.

“Police wish to thank the public for their assistance,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
