Derry to face Shelbourne in FAI Cup quarter-final
Derry City have been drawn at home to Premier Division leaders Shelbourne in the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup.
The Candystripes will meet Damien Duff's side on the weekend of 13-15 September at the Brandywell, with the date and time to be confirmed.
It is a repeat of the 2022 decider when Derry won 4-0 at the Aviva Stadium.
Ruaidhri Higgins' team overcame second division Cork City 1-0 in the third round of the competition last weekend, whilst Shelbourne required penalties to beat Galway United 5-3 in a penalty shootout.
The three previous league meetings between the two sides this year have ended in draws.
Shelbourne are two points ahead of the Candystripes in the league table, having played one game less.
