Defending men's champions Scotland take a record of three wins out of three into their Monday round-robin match with Switzerland (10:00 GMT) at the European Curling Championships, which will be shown live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

The Scots opened in Finland against the Netherlands and won 8-6 before a narrow 6-5 victory over Norway.

Mouat has been skip for Scotland's three European titles in a row and their 2018 win.

"The boys and I are in a really good place. We have been playing some really good curling," he said before the tournament.

"We have had a lot of fun at the recent ones we have played in and we are looking forward to hopefully defending our title again.

"The Europeans is so important to us and for Scotland securing that spot at the worlds and obviously that leads to Olympic points.

"It is going to be a really tough event, because there are a lot of strong teams coming out of Europe that have done well on the World Curling Tour and not just the teams you would normally associate with doing well on tour. We have got some of the best teams in the world coming out of Europe now."

Mouat's rink also play Austria on Monday (18:00).

In the women's competition, Rebecca Morrison's Scottish rink have one win from three and face Turkey (06:00) and Hungary (14:00) on Monday.
