Warner destroys Swann with savage mid-match sledge

While Graeme Swann was busy commentating the Big Bash, David Warner was taking him down on social media.

Former England Test spinner Swann is in Australia for media commitments during the Ashes, working for UK broadcaster BT Sport.

And he's also been doing some work for Channel 10 for the Big Bash.

But apparently Warner isn't a fan.

During Tuesday night's clash between Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Stars, Warner took to Twitter to deliver a withering critique of Swann.

Great to see @Swannyg66 commentating out here. Thought after being 3-0 down he may have left tour early again," he tweeted, referencing Swann's decision to quit mid-tour during the 2013/14 Ashes series.

Warner's brutal dig was the talk of Twitter afterwards.

On the field, Mitchell Swepson claimed career-best figures and the 'Bash Brothers' did the rest as Brisbane consigned the Stars to a nine-wicket defeat.

The much-hyped Stars fell to 0-3 for the season as Brisbane cruised to victory at the MCG, reaching their target of 142 with five overs to spare.

Promoted to open the batting, master-blaster Chris Lynn plundered three sixes on his way to 63 off 46 balls.

His 101-run stand with Heat captain Brendon McCullum was the pair's third BBL hundred-partnership.
