Punters go crazy for Gabba pool proposal
Introducing a pool at the Gabba was a bizarre development.
They probably knew it would be home to some interesting situations -- even with tight control of the drinks being served there.
But did they ever expect it would be the site of a marriage proposal?
One couple made that happen on Friday and the punters around them loved it.
Cameras showed the woman, wearing a canary yellow Australian shirt, fitting a ring before celebrating with her topless partner.
From cheers and claps to water -- if not champagne -- being sprayed, it was a happy occasion.
