Indian star fumes in bizarre century celebration

India's Harmanpreet Kaur was left absolutely livid despite bringing up a brilliant century against Australia.

In what could very well be the angriest century celebration in cricket history, Kaur threw her bat and helmet onto the ground before unloading on batting partner Deepti Sharma with a massive spray.

The centurion was furious that she'd nearly been run out on 98 when she hit the ball to deep mid wicket and attempted two runs.

Kaur called for the second but Sharma was slow to react, with both women forced to dive to make their ground.

Kaur got to her feet and immediately admonished her teammate, gesticulating wildly and yelling criticism.

Even when replays showed both players had made their ground - sending Kaur to 100 - she didn't raise the bat and was still fuming.

She smashed 20 fours and seven sixes in her unbeaten 171 from just 115 deliveries as India chalked up an imposing 4-281 in 42 overs after the match was shortened due to a three-hour rain delay.

In response, Australia slumped to 245 all out after Alex Blackwell hit 90 from 56 balls in a last-wicket stand of 76 with Kristen Beams to give the margin of defeat some respectability.
