Is this the craziest dismissal ever?

Kiwi batter Katey Martin has been dismissed in the most unusual circumstances during New Zealand's third T20 against Australia at the Adelaide Oval.

Martin advanced down the pitch to play a delivery from Australia's Amanda-Jade Wellington, and managed to block the ball.

However unluckily for Martin, she connected with the bouncing ball again as she swung her bat down in an attempt to get back in her crease, hitting it back onto her own stumps.

To the delight of the Aussie fielders the bails were dislodged and Martin was out bowled for just one run.

The crazy dismissal is reminiscent of this hugely unlucky dismissal of Andre Russell.

And this fairly stupid run out of Blackcap bowler Neil Wagner, whose whole body was past the crease.

Peter Handscomb's hit-wicket dismissal in a recent Test against Pakistan was also hugely unfortunate.

This one takes the case for the most hilarious of them all.
