Moises Henriques hit a career-best 265 and shared a massive partnership with wicketkeeper Peter Nevill to lift NSW to 6dec-603 in their Sheffield Shield clash with Queensland at the SCG.
It was another day of pain and extreme heat for Queensland's attack on Saturday in Sydney, as the Blues' pair put on 391 runs for the fifth wicket, the sixth highest partnership in the history of the Sheffield Shield.
SCORECARD: NSW v Queensland
Nevill proved an invaluable partner to Henriques' flashing blade, as the keeper scored his second successive century to finish unbeaten on 143.
The duo looked set to make it a third session without Queensland taking a wicket, only for Henriques to fall before the tea break.
After hitting five sixes, Henriques was caught off the bowling of part-time spinner Marnus Labuschagne to end a seven-hour, 327-ball knock.
