Spidercam denies Dhoni humongous six

India star MS Dhoni was denied a massive six against England in one of the most bizarre incidents ever seen at a one day international.

The Indian batsman was on 93-runs at the time, when he got hold of a full-toss that was sailing comfortably over the fence at deep square leg.

But in a cruel twist of fate, the ball struck a wire suspended high in the air, that was attached to the spidercam on the boundary.

Under ICC rules the umpire had no choice but to rule it a 'deal ball' meaning Dhoni was robbed of the six.

His frustration didn't last long, however, with Dhoni clearing the fence on the next delivery, just for good measure.

Dhoni finished with 134 from 122 balls and with the help of Yuvraj Singh (150 from 127) the pair guided India to a series-clinching 15-run win.

England, led by Eoin Morgan (102 off 81) came close to chasing down the improbable victory target of 382, but could only manage 8/366 off their 50-overs.
