Wait! Did Chris Gayle actually just name his daughter Blush?

Chris Gayle is either back to his Instagram trolling ways or he has actually named his daughter Blush.

The controversial West Indian batsmen posted this image on Instagram welcoming the birth of his daughter with this caption.

“We would like to welcome the arrival of our beautiful daughter ‘Blush’ to this world 2 hours ago. Thank God.”

During last summer's Big Bash tournament Gayle was fined $10,000 for his now infamous "don't blush baby" sideline interview with then Channel 10 reporter Mel McLaughlin after his swashbuckling innings against the Hobart Hurricanes.

Gayle was reprimanded by his team the Melbourne Renegades and widely lambasted for his behaviour, which he at the time described as a "simple joke" that had been "blown out of proportion."

Gayle offered up an apology the following day saying: “There wasn’t anything meant to be disrespectful or offensive to Mel.”

“If she felt that way, I’m really sorry for that. There wasn’t any harm meant in that particular way, to harm any particular person in any particular way like that.”

He later posted an Instagram post alongside Dwayne Bravo, joking about his pocket's being a little light, but is this latest jab taking things too far?

Reports emerged that the Universe Boss was in fact having a laugh and that he didn't even have a girl, rather giving birth to a son.
