Flying Maxwell takes stunning catch in IPL

Glenn Maxwell has taken his superb fielding exploits to the Indian Premier League, taking a brilliant diving catch for Kolkata Knight Riders.

Fielding at deep mid-wicket, Maxwell came charging in as Gautam Gambhir lobbed the ball into the shallow outfield.

'The Big Show' dove full length and plucked a classic grab with two hands.

It wasn't all good for the all-rounder however, falling for four after his attempted switch-hit lobbed up for a simple catch at cover.

It continued the Victorian's poor run of form with the bat that has seen him score just 38 runs in four innings at an average of 12.66.
