How on earth did the Windies muck up this run out?

It's bad enough missing an opportunity to dismiss Virat Kohli when he's only on one, but twice in one ball is unforgivable.

The Indian superstar made an unbeaten 89 off 42 balls as he guided his side to 2/192 in the World T20 semi finals against West Indies.

But he should have been gone much earlier in his innings. Kohli was facing a free hit off the bowling of Dwayne Bravo when he played and missed and inexplicably set off for a run.

Wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin had a shy at the stumps and missed, but with Kohli stranded in the middle of the pitch Bravo picked up the ball and had an easy shot to run him out.

Somehow the enigmatic all-rounder missed from just metres away, handing Kohli two reprieves in a matter of seconds.

The reactions from the players was simply priceless.

The miss didn't end up costing the West Indies however, going on to secure a dramatic final-over victory.
