Tim Southee hit a booming six during the first day of the inaugural day-night Test in Adelaide, and this fan took an early contender for catch of the summer.

Wearing a retro one-day cricket shirt, the fan rose above the pack to take an absolute blinder before disappearing into a sea of bodies.
He then emerged with raised arms and hurled the ball back onto the field in triumph.
