Glenn Maxwell working on behind-the-back shot

Glenn Maxwell is ready to shock the cricket world with a new shot, and you wouldn't believe which one it is.

The man who has perfected the reverse sweep, the ramp and lookaway cut is currently playing English county cricket with Yorkshire and used a coaching session with the club’s youngsters to show off his new behind-the-back shot.

The vision was shared on Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket’s Facebook page with the message: “Thanks to Glenn Maxwell for opening boys minds to what’s possible! How about this for quick learning!”

Maxwell used a variety of shots during Australia’s successful World Cup campaign earlier this year.
There is no word if Maxwell is planning on using the behind-the-back shot in a match.

He recently pulled out of a two-week tour of India with Australia A this week to continue playing with Yorkshire.
