County sign Barnsley defender Lopata on loan
Centre-back Kacper Lopata brings a "commanding presence" to Ross County's defence after joining on a season-long loan from Barnsley, says manager Don Cowie.
The 23-year-old former Poland youth international, who came through Brighton's academy, joined Barnsley a year ago and spent the second half of last season on loan at Port Vale.
"We are delighted to secure Kacper for the season," Cowie said.
"He is a commanding presence and adds to our defensive options. He is a Polish youth international so comes to us with good pedigree."
