Brighton have two high value talents in striker Evan Ferguson and playmaker Julio Enciso but both are struggling for minutes.

Ferguson has played 105 league minutes this season while Enciso has played just 84 - with both players having worked their way back from long-term injuries last season.

There are reports that the Seagulls are ready to allow Ferguson to leave on loan in January.

Brighton have refused to comment but it is understood that Enciso would be open to a loan move.

That situation could change rapidly in a busy December which will offer further chances to all players amid a period of fixture congestion.

Sources have also said Enciso is willing to wait given the potential of circumstances changing and that conversations will take place about potential loan conditions closer to when the window opens.

Ferguson is struggling for minutes while all of Danny Welbeck, Georgino Rutter and now Joao Pedro are in form. Meanwhile, Enciso finds himself competing with Kaoro Mitoma, Simon Adingra and Yankuba Minteh.

Brighton have lost just twice under young manager Fabian Hurzeler this season and are in a lofty fifth position in the Premier League.
