Coronation Street has hinted at a new villain in the Stu Carpenter and Eliza Woodrow storyline.
Stu has had a rough time lately, notably with the arrival of granddaughter Eliza's father Dom and her reconnection with him.
The relationship has caused tensions, and in new scenes set to air next week, hints at some villainous antics from Dom surface after he hears about Stu's money.

Things begin when Yasmeen informs Stu that Zeedan wants to take her to Pakistan for her 70th birthday, though she admits that she doesn't want to leave him at home amid his stress over the Dom and Eliza situation. However, Stu insists that she should go.
Meanwhile, Dom heads to the solicitors and tells Stu and Dee-Dee that they should drop their legal proceedings and come to an agreement, though Stu rebuffs him, telling him that he will see him in court.
Dom tells Stu later in the week that he wants what's best for his daughter, and a shot at getting to know Eliza and being a better father, leaving Stu torn.

Stu and Eliza later meet Dom at the precinct, and Dom suggests ice cream, making out like he has forgotten his wallet.
Eliza tells him that Stu will pay as he has lots of money – especially after the compensation for his wrongful conviction – and Dom's ears suddenly prick up.
Will he begin to take an interest in Stu's money, and could Stu be in danger?
