Confusion reigns over Geelong's bizarre Joel Selwood move
Joel Selwood’s inclusion in Geelong’s side to face North Melbourne has lasted just 30 minutes, with the Cats bizarrely adding him to their 22 for Sunday’s clash at Marvel Stadium then withdrawing him.
Initially named as an emergency after missing last week’s game with soreness, Selwood was announced as a late replacement for Sam Menegola (knee) in the Cats team submitted 90 minutes prior to the opening bounce.

Some 30 minutes later, the Cats declared Selwood unfit to play and named Charlie Constable as his replacement.

Zach Tuohy is the other addition for Geelong, who earlier in the week confirmed his inclusion in place of Zach Guthrie.
Star onballer Patrick Dangerfield overcame fitness concerns and was named to play.
There had been speculation Selwood was on standby for Dangerfield, who left the MCG last weekend with a large ice pack on his left knee.
North also swung a late change, replacing Marley Williams (personal reasons) with Sam Durdin.
Forward Curtis Taylor was earlier named to replace injured backman Scott Thompson (groin).
