Cockroft powers to fourth consecutive 100m title
Britain's Hannah Cockroft powered to her fourth consecutive T34 100m title to claim her eighth Paralympic gold medal.
Cockroft finished in 16.90 seconds at Stade de France - well ahead of team-mate Kare Adenegan (17.99) with Fabienne Andre, the other Briton in the race, in fifth.
The 32-year-old has dominated the event since making her GB debut in 2011.
Earlier, fellow wheelchair racer Sammi Kinghorn won silver in the T53 800m behind Switzerland's Catherine Debrunner.
