Tippett deal struck with Swans: report

Adelaide have reportedly caved into a deal from the Swans for Kurt Tippett, accepting a deal they refused a week ago.

Tippett, who nominated Sydney as his preferred trade destination, will reportedly be swapped for the Swans' pick 22 and ruckman/forward Jesse White.

White met with Crows coach Brenton Sanderson yesterday and reportedly completed a medical with the club.

According to News Limited, just last week the Crows rejected the same offer in the hopes of being able to deal with Greater Western Sydney.

They had hoped to lure ruckman Jonathan Giles to the club to help Sam Jacobs, but the Giants star chose to stay in Sydney on a three-year deal.

Tippett has copped a lot of criticism for the way he has handled the trade period after he originally gave assurances that if he left it would be to go home to Queensland.

The news also quashes any talk of any agreement that Tippett would be traded for a second round pick at the end of his contract.
