Clothing Factory Destroyed in Kharkiv

A clothing factory was destroyed in Kharkiv, Ukraine, as seen in footage posted on February 28.

This video filmed by Maria Avdeeva, the research director for European Expert Association, shows flames erupting from the destroyed building on Shevchenka Street, and a column of smoke rising from the rubble.

The clothing factory’s website said that it specialized “in the manufacture of products, the main elements of which are embroidery and decoration.”

Avdeeva said she arrived at the location with a journalist because they had heard that a missile hit the sewing factory. She said, “This is a residential area with no military objects and people lived very close to this building …” Storyful could not corroborate what kind of weaponry struck the building.
