The Kansas City Chiefs are your AFC champions after dispatching the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, and a lot of people are ready to see what comes next.
In a conference in which the New England Patriots have dominated for two decades, seeing a team featuring a beloved head coach in Andy Reid, one of the league’s most popular players in Patrick Mahomes and a team on a 50-year Super Bowl drought come out of the AFC is a breath of fresh air.
Soon, we’ll get to see Mahomes and that Reid-designed offense show their stuff in Miami as well.
Twitter reacts to Chiefs making the Super Bowl
Judging by the reaction the Chiefs got on Twitter simply by reaching the Super Bowl, they’ll have plenty of supporters.

Things also quickly turned into an Andy Reid appreciation campaign, led by some of the coach’s former players. This will be the second Super Bowl of Reid’s two-decade head coaching career, and a chance at finally getting the ring that has eluded him for so long.

In November, he coached practice in KC, then flew to Philly for the induction of Donovan McNabb & Troy Vincent in the Phila. Sports HOF. Special.
