Chick-fil-A customers are freaking out over a new ‘god-tier’ menu hack: ‘How would they know?’

A new Chick-fil-A menu hack is going viral on TikTok, and it’s easy to see why.

The trick, shared by a user named Mario, claims to show how you can get a pair of Chick-fil-A sandwiches at a major discount. His secret? Order the sandwich in two parts.

“TRY IT OUT! And it’s DELICIOUS,” the TikToker captioned his video.

As Mario explains in his clip, you can get two “discounted” sandwiches by getting an order of chicken strips and “two buttered buns.” He claims the hack saves about $2.

Looking at the chain’s menu, that seems about right. A single chicken sandwich typically costs $3.75, while an order of chicken strips — which contains four chicken “patties” for a sandwich — usually costs $4.10. The buttered buns presumably cost a dollar or two extra.

So, the hack does technically let you build your own sandwiches at a discount. Many TikTok users were impressed by the trick.

“I didn’t even know they sold buns,” one user wrote.

“This is god tier hacking,” another added.

“No one’s gonna know. How would they know?” another wrote, referencing the famous TikTok audio.

Others found the hack less impressive. Some pointed out that, while the tenders seem to be cooked and breaded the same way as Chick-fil-A’s chicken patties, they aren’t exactly the same. A few users flagged another potential issue: no pickles.

“I need my two pickles though,” one user wrote.

Love it or hate it, Mario’s fast food hack video is just the latest to go viral on TikTok. In recent months, users have shared their hacks for making homemade McDonald’s McGriddles and replicating Chik-fil-A nuggets with Costco snacks.
