Miraculously, Carlos Orduz walked away unscathed after a piece of the set fell onto him while he was sitting at the desk.

Orduz could be seen shuffling some papers when he spotted the falling object out of the corner of his eye.

Despite bracing for the crush, the panellist could be seen being slammed down into his desk before the camera cut to the show's host.

The anchor could be seen looking on in shock before throwing to a commercial break.

Orduz later took to Twitter to let fans know he was okay.

“To those who wrote to me and greeted me about the accident last night, I must tell you that I am fine,” he said.

“Thank God, after the medical check-up, the respective examinations, any issue was ruled out, only a bruise and a blow to the nose (no fracture).”

Fans flocked to social media in disbelief.

Juventus crash out of Champions League

Meanwhile, Sergio Oliveira has scored in extra time to send 10-man Porto into the quarter-finals of the Champions League despite a thrilling 3-2 last 16-second leg defeat at Juventus.

Porto, who played most of the second leg at a numerical disadvantage after Mehdi Taremi's 54th-minute sending off, progressed on away goals after the tie ended 4-4 on aggregate.

Oliveira thumped the decisive set piece under the wall and beyond the despairing dive of Wojciech Szczesny in the 115th and though Adrien Rabiot replied immediately for Juventus the visitors advanced.

Porto took the lead in Turin from the penalty spot with Oliveira on target after 19 minutes, but Federico Chiesa scored twice in the second half to level the tie for Juve and send the match into extra time.

Juan Cuadrado almost won it in regulation for Juventus when he struck a brilliant effort onto the bar deep into stoppage-time but Porto survived and went on to secure their passage to the next phase of the knockout stage.

"This is really tough," Juve defender Matthijs de Ligt told Sky Sport Italia.

"When you play against 10 for almost the whole match, it's always tough to then go out like this."

Elsewhere, Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland became the fastest player to reach 20 goals in the Champions League, as well as the youngest, after scoring twice in a 2-2 draw with Sevilla that ensured the hosts' passage to the quarter-finals.

Haaland's goals, on 35 and 54 minutes, helped Dortmund seal a 5-4 aggregate victory.
