Celtic are yet to confirm a deal for Norwich and Republic of Ireland striker Adam Idah, with the player in Glasgow finalising the move to offer more options up front.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has repeatedly expressed his desire to add "quality" to the squad and recently suggested there were a “number of areas” the club were looking to improve on.

As things stand, Celtic have only secured winger Nicolas Kuhn from Rapid Vienna in this transfer window.

Rodgers also cited the need to trim the squad and it looks like that will happen to an extent.

Midfielder David Turnbull has undergone a medical with Cardiffp and is now expected to complete a permanent move before the window closes.

West Brom are closing in on a move for winger Mikey Johnston who has struggled to make an impact since his return from a loan with Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes.
