Carli Lloyd can add another feat to her long list of career accomplishments.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist made history as she scored her 100th goal for the U.S. women’s national team during Sunday’s game against Mexico in Houston.
Lloyd's goal came in the 34th minute of the game as she made her 252nd all-time appearance for the national team. She joins Abby Wambach (184), Mia Hamm (158), Kristine Lilly (130), Michelle Akers (107) and Tiffeny Milbrett (100) as one of six players to score 100 international goals.
Lloyd, 35, also scored in the first of two friendlies against Mexico this week.
The U.S. led Mexico 4-2 at halftime Sunday.
