Will Bronny James play for the Lakers tonight in preseason debut?
Bronny James Jr. will make his preseason debut Friday as the Los Angeles Lakers play the Minnesota Timberwolves.
"Of course there's nerves," James told reporters on Friday. "That comes with everything but I'm just excited to go out there and learn and learn from the people playing in front of me."

James was drafted in the second round with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 draft out of USC.
The guard has already competed in a Lakers uniform during the NBA Summer League in July, rebounding from a slow start.
James averaged 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and assists in four games played.
When will Bronny James be on the court?
The expectation is that Bronny is likely to come off the bench for the Lakers to open the preseason. He did start for the Lakers during the Summer League in July.

Bronny and LeBron James have already accomplished NBA history by becoming the first father-son duo on an NBA roster together but there's still plenty more that the pair can accomplish.
The historic father-son moment will not happen tonight. LeBron has reportedly been ruled out for the preseason opener, according to ESPN.
