Luton Town's game at Bournemouth, which was abandoned after Hatters captain Tom Lockyer had a cardiac arrest, has been rearranged for Wednesday, 13 March.

The players were taken off midway through the second half of the original fixture on 16 December as Lockyer received medical treatment.

The 29-year-old was then taken to hospital and the match was called off at 1-1 in the 65th minute.

The rescheduled Premier League game will kick-off at 19:30 GMT.

Bournemouth said "further information" would be released at midday on Thursday.

Lockyer spent five days in hospital and had an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) device fitted.

He returned to Kenilworth Road for the first time for his side's 4-0 win against Brighton on 30 January and received an ovation from both sets of supporters.

"Everyone at AFC Bournemouth is thrilled to see Tom making positive steps in his recovery, and we look forward to welcoming the club's staff, players and supporters back to Vitality Stadium," Bournemouth said in a statement.
