Bournemouth fans will feel they should be celebrating their first three points of the season, but instead a controversial call by the video assistant referee dominated the post-match chat.

Dango Ouattara's late goal was ruled out, with VAR deciding that the ball struck his arm rather than his shoulder, a decision that incensed Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola.

The Cherries boss animatedly contested the decision at the time and was no calmer in his post-match interviews.

For Iraola, it was the second poor decision by the technology in as many games, having had a goal ruled out in the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest in their Premier League opener.

But despite the frustration, there's positives for Bournemouth to take - their performance against Newcastle was very good and they had chances to win the game even before the late drama.
