Frightening first-person trip down ‘killer’ Sochi Olympic ski course (Video)

SOCHI, Russia -- It’s a course where skiers travel over 84 miles per hour. It’s a course that Olympic champion Bode Miller admitted “can kill you” if your focus lapses.

It’s the Sochi Olympics ski piste in Rosa Khutor, and it’s become infamous for its icy conditions and treacherous track.

What’s it like to hurdle down this dangerous course? Five-time Olympian Graham Bell of the BBC took a camera in one hand and his life in his other, giving us a first-person perspective on the perilous piste.

Uh, can we get this in IMAX?

On Saturday, 10 racers crashed on the downhill course and 19 others opted out of their practice runs. Watching this trip down the hill, can you blame them?

Kudos to Bell for keeping his wits and giving us a running commentary during his run. But can the BBC maybe kick this guy a Go-Pro camera so he doesn't have to do this with the family camcorder next time?
