Brennan LaBrie, age 10, Olympic reporter

Brennan LaBrie thinks Scott James is a slacker. After all, it took James until age 15 to get to the Olympics. Brennan is going there as a 10-year-old. The main difference? He's a reporter.

LaBrie publishes his own weekly newspaper, writes for Time Magazine's off-shoot Time for Kids, tweets, and will generally run all of media in the year 2050. While at the Games he'll be writing for Time for Kids and filing reports for the Tacoma News Tribune. No word yet on whether or not he will guest judge American Idol upon his return.
