NBA star face-plants in epic dunk fail

Chicago Bulls star Kris Dunn might be short a few teeth after a routine slam dunk went horribly wrong in the NBA.

Dunn turned a simple two points into a personal horror show after his breakaway play ended in painful fashion.

With just under three minutes to play, Dunn stole a pass from Klay Thompson when he tried to slam the ball home.

But the Bulls man's momentum sent him spinning 180-degrees around as he brutally face-planted onto the canvas.

Dunn tried to use his hands to brace his fall but he hit the deck hard, appearing to split a lip and shattering some teeth in the process.

Play was stopped momentarily while officials checked on the state of the shaken Chicago star.

To add insult to injury the Bulls went down to the Warriors 119-112.
