The most emotional NBA half-time show ever

The Sacramento Kings have delivered the ultimate surprise to a pair of young fans during their NBA game against the Phoenix Suns.

The Kings brought down two young children to the court at half-time, and told the crowd they'd be involved in a game of hide and seek.

However the NBA team's on-court entertainment team had an emotional surprise up their sleeves.

Hiding in the background was U.S. Army Sergeant Shawn Sullivan, the children's father.

They hadn't seen him for nine months as he served a tour of duty to Afghanistan.

While the kids walked down the court thinking they were searching for Kings mascot Slamson, they would instead find a far greater prize.

In an emotional moment, the kids were stunned to see their father waiting for them at the end of the court.

The three embraced in a long hug as the crowd cheered and players from both teams clapped.

The Kings went on to defeat the Suns, however the Sullivans stole the show.
