Cambage re-ignites feud with Bogut

Liz Cambage has taken another swipe at Boomers star Andrew Bogut as the feud between the pair reaches new levels.

Appearing on ABC sport show Sideliners Cambage ripped into Bogut when asked about their relationship.

“It’s kind of sad,” Cambage said. “I look up to Andrew, he’s such a great post-player.

“But when a man is tweeting at you how to live your life, people you sleep with, things I do in my day-to-day, it’s so disrespectful.

“I just have no respect for that man. It’s quite sad, he’s an amazing basketballer, but just stop.”

These remarks are just the latest in a war of words that dates back as far as the Rio Olympics.

On that occasion Bogut ripped into Cambage over her decision to skip an Opals training session to attend a music festival.

It was re-ignited in May when Cambage responded to an Instagram post about Bogut with the remark ‘he is so foul’.

Bogut responded with a tweet captioned "DJ Cambage in the house!!"

That became an ongoing jibe from Bogut, referring to Cambage's recent appearances as a DJ at festivals and concerts.

From there, other Aussie b'ball stars began watching the online war with great interest as the rival pair continued to exchange subtle but nasty tweets.

Even the usually reserved Boomers point guard Patty Mills became involved after seeing this particularly vicious tweet about his Aussie teammate.
