KD and Westbrook's All-Star alley-oop buries the hatchet

Former teammates Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook went one-two for the alley-oop dunk in the NBA All-Star Game.

Durant departed the Oklahoma City Thunder in the off-season, leaving Westbrook to join the record-setting Golden State Warriors.

The two have played up a verbal stoush ever since.

Durant was booed heavily when he played in Oklahoma City for the first time as a member of the Warriors two weeks ago.

Golden State defeated the Thunder 130-114 as a precursor to the pair teaming up for the West All-Stars in New Orleans.

The West bench clapped and cheered after Durant and Westbrook combined for the dunk in the first quarter.

Former NBA All-Star Reggie Miller, now a commentator for TNT, sung Kumbaya almost as soon as the dunk went down.

"It was a nice give-and-go, man. Good give-and-go. Good pass. I barely got over the rim, but a nice give-and-go," Westbrook said from the bench later.

West teammate Anthony Davis also weighed in: "It's pretty cool. It was cute."

With the pass out of the way, one potential situation remains.

The Warriors dominate the West, coached by Steve Kerr, through Durant, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

Could Kerr put Westbrook in alongside Durant, Curry, Thompson and Green?
