Meet the MVP's baby doppelganger - Stuff Curry

Steph Curry is plenty of things: NBA Most Valuable Player, defending champion, greatest shooter of all time and now he can add looking exactly like this adorable baby to that list.

Curry is 28 years old, but is famous for his baby face and in general looking years younger than he is, even admitting to still getting his ID checked at bars. [Side note: Who doesn't know who Steph Curry is?]

Well apparently, Illinois mother Jessica Benton was one of those people. It was only when someone pointed it out to her that it was brought to her attention that her 10-month old baby Landon shared a striking resemblance to the Golden State Warriors point guard.

Initially she was not thrilled, given the internet had coined the nickname for her son 'Stuff Curry' after a meme comparing him to the baller was shared over 50,000 times with plenty of negative comments about her son's weight and appearance, but according to ESPN's Darren Rovell, she is now owning the name.

Per Rovell:

"I'm not going to let them fat shame my baby and put it all over online and I just give up there," she said"

"I wanted to really turn it into something good and take control of it and say, 'OK, we're gonna own this name. Yeah, we're Stuff Curry. We look like the famous basketball player.'"

Landon's Instagram account which is run by his mother, now has over 40,000 followers and Benton says the response has been largely positive from the people who have reached out to her.

Under Armour, Curry's athletic sponsor even sent the little guy his own pair of sneakers.

The internet can be a mean place, but at least there's still some good vibes around.
