NBA rookie stumbles onto live TV set while checking phone

Miami Heat rookie Josh Richardson has shown why you should never walk and text at the same time, randomly walking on set during a live television broadcast.

Moments after his team took a 2-0 lead in their NBA Playoff series against the Charlotte Hornets, Richardson hilariously stumbled on screen behind studio host Jason Jackson.

Richardson was meant to conduct an interview later in the program, so Jackson invited him to sit down anyway, despite the youngster's attempts to back out of the shot.

At least he didn't do this:

He then went on to detail how Miami came away with the win, before wrapping up his impromptu interview with a mic drop.
