Aussie ballboy embarrasses tennis star with incredible skills

Could this kid be the future of Australian tennis?

Canadian star Denis Shapovalov has met his match in the form of a ballboy at the Kooyong Classic.

During his clash with Jack Sock on Thursday, the World No.27 enjoyed a hit with the young man after the second set.

Sock invited the ballboy onto court so he could have a breather before the match tiebreaker.

But Shapovalov certainly wouldn’t have been expecting the skills that the boy showed off.

The ballboy won two consecutive points against the tennis star, first with a booming forehand that Shapovalov couldn’t get back.

But he wasn’t done there, embarrassing Shapovalov with an audacious drop shot before putting him away with another forehand winner on the next point.

The Kooyong crowd erupted with delight as Sock ran over and congratulated the boy.

But perhaps the best part was the youngster’s reaction, casually walking back to his position as if he beat the World No.27 on a daily basis.

For the record, Shapovalov won the match 10-3 in the match tiebreaker, but we doubt it will be remembered for that.
