'Buckets for hands': Dave Warner catches send cricket world wild
David Warner has left cricket viewers in a spin after an exhibition in slips fielding in the third Ashes Test.
Fresh from his half century in Australia's first innings of 179, the Aussie opener made his presence felt in the field.
Stationed at first slip, Warner took a clever catch off Josh Hazlewood to send under-pressure Jason Roy packing for nine runs.
Roy's lack of judgement was punished as he went fishing for a ball he probably should have left, edging one that Warner took after diving to the right.
The opener received no sympathy from fans on social media, many of whom suggested his time at the top of England's batting order was up.
The same pair then combined to remove England captain Joe Root for a duck.
Screamer from Warner gives the England skipper a second duck on the trot! Home side in early trouble at Leeds!

Root got a thick outside edge that flew to Warner in the slips, with the Aussie launching himself to the left to snare an excellent catch.
England's other opener Rory Burns went for nine before Warner once again found himself in the right place to take another superb slips catch.
Ben Stokes slashed at a wide James Pattinson delivery that went flying high and to Warner's left.
Such was the confidence the Aussie has been exuding at Headingley, Warner leapt in the air to snaffle the tricky chance with consummate ease.
Incredibly, Warner then made it four catches before lunch when he snared Jonny Bairstow for just four runs to give Hazlewood his third wicket of the innings.
Fans lit up social media to praise Warner for his stunning display of catching.

Someone needs to check for magnets in David Warner's hands.
That's three catches for the man at first slip.
England 4/34 and Stokes out for 8. #Cricket #Ashes #ENGvAUS— Lachlan McKirdy (@LMcKirdy7) August 23, 2019

Australia’s blistering start to day two left England 6-54 and reeling at the lunch break.
England's bottom order offered limited resistance when they returned from lunch as the Aussie quicks cleaned up the tail to leave the hosts all out for 67.
The Aussies were desperate to begin the second day with wickets after a collapse on day one saw them bundled out for 179.
Pace bowler Jofra Archer led the way for England on the opening day, bagging six wickets in just the second Test match of his career.
Archer created chaos as Australia lost 8-43 to be rolled on a rain-affected opening day.
Aussie opener Warner and Marnus Labuschagne passed 50 but their teammates had no answers as Archer grabbed 6-45, celebrating his maiden five-wicket haul for England.
