Ash Barty’s incredible winning streak that lasted throughout the French Open to her fourth round exit at Wimbledon has seen the Aussie rocket into the top 50 biggest earners in tennis history.
Barty pocketed $3.7 million for her maiden grand slam tournament victory at the French Open.
She followed this up and transitioned swiftly to grass winning Birmingham, which netted her a cool $250,000.
Following Birmingham, the World No.1 fell in the Round of 16 of Wimbledon to Alison Riske and earned around $322,000.
The Australian’s career prize money has doubled this year from $7.5 million to just over $15 million in the space of seven months.
Sam Stosur is the only Australian woman ahead of Barty in career earnings with $26 million.
Barty will look to finish the year as World No.1 after extending her lead to 348 points on japan’s Naomi Osaka.
