Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo rep their Wicked characters on the Oscars red carpet

Ariana Grande has had a busy couple of days thanks to her new album Eternal Sunshine dropping, and now she’s out here presenting at the Oscars. For her debut appearance at the Academy Awards, Ari stepped out on the red carpet looking gorgeous in a strapless pink Giambattista Valli gown. The design featured ruched detailing and a massive statement puffy-sleeved train she wore slipped down her arms. Pink satin heels alongside Tiffany & Co jewellery perfectly coordinated to her attire completed the look.

And just one more snap because we're fully obsessed with this 'fit.

FYI, she was late thanks to traffic, but made it in time to walk the carpet!

While Ariana's gown is no doubt stunning, we love her look even more because the bubblegum-pink dress is the perfect Glinda cosplay outfit. Convenient, given Ari is taking on the iconic role in the upcoming musical movie and where better to promo Wicked than the 2024 Oscars red carpet?

Luckily, Ariana's Wicked co-star Cynthia Eviro also got the memo channelling her own character, Elphaba, in a forest green leather dress by Louis Vuitton featuring a trailing hem and statement shoulders.

Rather than paint her entire body green, her attire provided a more subtle nod to the Wicked Witch of the West. As did her manicure, which featured green metallic tips.

The duo took to the stage together to present the award for Best Original Song and Best Original Score, with Billie Eilish snapping up the first prize for 'What Was I Made For?' from the Babrie film and Oppenheimer taking the win for the latter.

Forget Barbenheimer, all we care about RN is the Wicked countdown. November can't come soon enough.
