If anyone doubted it, Aaron Rodgers reminded us on TD pass how great he is

Robert Tonyan hadn’t caught a pass in his NFL career, but the fourth-string tight end of the Green Bay Packers knew the cardinal rule: Just keep running. Aaron Rodgers will find you.

Tonyan became the latest Packer to have a touchdown drop in his arms from Rodgers. He’s the 33rd in fact, as Fox pointed out.

In the first quarter of the Packers’ Thursday night game against the Seattle Seahawks, Rodgers unleashed one the many passes in his career that leave you shaking your head. Rodgers dodged pressure up the middle with his athleticism, then rolled right. Tonyan, who had played 10 offensive snaps all season before Thursday, just kept running down the far sideline. He eventually came back to the middle of the field and Rodgers let one loose.

Rodgers threw it from about his own 41 yard line to the opposite goal line. The proverbial flick of the wrist. It landed perfectly in Tonyan’s arms. One career catch, one touchdown from Aaron Rodgers on prime time. Officially it went for 54 yards. Not bad for Tonyan, who is from Indiana State and went undrafted in 2017 and spend the end of last season on Green Bay’s practice squad.

It’s an amazing highlight for Tonyan, one he’ll remember forever. Even though it was an absolute dart that traveled almost 60 yards downfield, it was just another of many unbelievable throws in Rodgers’ legendary career. He makes it look easy.
