Amy Schumer Hilariously Eviscerated Hilaria Baldwin For Pretending To Be Spanish, And She Has A Point

In case you haven't been following the Hilaria Baldwin circus, let me fill you in real quick!

In 2020, Hilaria was accused of pretending to be Spanish, like, from Spain.

Her official bio said she was born in Mallorca, Spain.

There are compilations of her speaking in a Spanish accent.

And my personal favorite was the time she couldn't remember how to say "cucumber."

Ultimately, people found out her birth name is Hillary Hayward-Thomas and she's from Boston.

The whole thing was super weird.

And eventually Hilaria came kind of clean about it all.

Now that you're caught up on the clownery, let's talk about Amy Schumer.

In her new Netflix comedy special, Emergency Contact, Amy says she met Hilaria backstage at SNL. Hilaria introduced herself in "a very thick Spanish accent from Spain" as “Hilaria from España."

“They have a von Trapp amount of children and they named them all, I’m not sure, but very Spanish names like Jamón, Croqueta, and Flamenco," Amy went on.

“All of this would be fine and beautiful, except that ‘Hilaria from España’ is actually Hillary from Boston. This woman is in no way Spanish. Her parents are not from Spain. No one in her life is from Spain," she said.

"I'm not trying to bully a sociopath, I have a point okay?" she emphasized.

"I can not tell you how much her family is not from Spain. They were early settlers in the US. I'm not fucking with you, they were on the Mayflower. That's how much this chick is from Boston," she went on.

"I think what happened was she went to Spain. I have been lucky enough to go to Spain. It's great. Don't you love it? I loved it, too. But Hillary from Boston fucking loooooooooooved it," Amy continued. "I am going to BE from it," Amy said in a thick Spanish accent pretending to be Hilaria.

Amy summed it all up: “My point is that this woman, since she met her husband, has straight-up pretended she is from Spain, and her husband shot someone."

"Now stay with me! Stay with me. My point is that neither of them give a fu*k. Find someone who can stand you," she finished.

As someone who has also been to Spain and loved it, I guess she has a point!

Now let's worry about the important things, like if Hilaria learned what these things are:
