The actress appears alongside her fellow beauty brand ambassadors Isabella Rossellini and Joy Sunday in the viral video
Amanda Seyfried was named a global ambassador for the French beauty brand Lancôme in 2019, but her accent is still a work in progress.
The actress, 38, admits she's hardly the expert when it comes to nailing the pronunciation of the brand name and its products.
“We're Lancôme ambassadors, of course we’re going to get asked if it’s Lohn-cohm or Lan-cohm,” she says in the brand’s take on the popular “of course” TikTok video trend which already has more than 700,000 views and counting.
Her fellow ambassador Isabella Rossellini, who served as Lancôme's first face in 1983, a role she held for 14 years, until she was brought back on in 2016 as an ambassador, clarifies, “once and for all it’s Lohn-cohm, Lohn-cohm.”
Seyfried then says, “We’re Lancôme ambassadors. I don’t speak French so of course I struggle with pronouncing the product names,” before attempting to say, “Teint Idole” which is the brand’s popular foundation. Rossellini, 71, responds by repeating the product name in a flawless accent.
The news addition to the Lancôme crew, Joy Sunday, 27, has her own fun moment when she says, “We’re Lancome ambassadors, of course we have one too many Juicy Tubes in our bag at any given time,’ then dumps out her stash of glosses on the table and applies a clear coat to her lips.
The Wednesday actress, who was announced as the latest Lancôme ambassador Jan. 10, told PEOPLE she “imploded” upon learning the brand wanted to work with her. “I was jumping up and down and screaming.”

Sunday is already enjoying the perks of her new gig, especially the influx of products. Her must-haves include Comfort Hand Cream and L'absolu Rouge Lip Balm. I have to keep them both on deck, they’re my essentials and I’m devastated if I leave the house without them.”
To celebrate her appointment to the role, Sunday, Rossellini and Seyfried attended a party at the Park Lane Hotel in New York City hosted by InStyle.
At the event, she delivered an emotional speech in which she said, "Somebody somewhere said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And I am fortunate enough to have people in this room who have beheld me from the minute I was alive. And there are folks present, who continue to behold me with such love, and pride, and joy, and support in their hearts. Thank you."
Sunday continued, "we are all beholders. So I think that means, beauty is everywhere. Beauty is universal. We can all see it, or we can all feel it, and we can all be it. And I am so, so ready and excited so share this vision with the world alongside Lancôme."
