Allgood signs for Super Leaguers Broncos

St George Illawarra prop Mitch Allgood has moved to Super League outfit London Broncos, the English club have announced.

The Sydney-born 30-year-old, who began his rugby league career at Parramatta Eels in 2011 where he played 70 games for the NRL side, returns to the UK having played for Hull Kingston Rovers in the 2015-16 season before a stint at Wakefield Trinity.

"I was very excited at the prospect of coming back to the UK and especially having the chance to play here at the Broncos," Allgood told the club's website.

"The way things ended here last time I felt I wanted to come back as I still had things I wanted to do."

Broncos coach Danny Ward said: "It's great to finally have Mitch on board for the 2020 season. He brings plenty of Super League and NRL experience to the group and we are looking forward to working with him."
