AFL fine Power, Cats over admin errors

The AFL have fined Geelong and Port Adelaide $5000 apiece for not keeping the league updated on changes to their long-term injury lists.

According to the AFL website, the fines relate to paperwork for Geelong midfielder Allen Christensen and Lewis Stevenson.

The AFL said the breaches of their player rules were unintentional and the two clubs' good records were taken into account when deciding the penalties.

Christensen and Stevenson are back playing after long-term injuries.
