Greater Western Sydney have taken a major step towards keeping their squad together with eight youngsters inking new deals at the club.

Jeremy Cameron, Toby Greene, Stephen Coniglio, Adam Treloar, Devon Smith, Jacob Townsend, Tim Mohr and Tim Golds have all agreed to contract extensions that will keep them at the Giants until the end of the 2015 season.

"This is a tremendous show of faith in the Giants and will help set the club up for long term, on-field success," CEO David Matthews said.

"As a club we have invested heavily in the welfare of our young players through Breakfast Point and our player welfare manager Craig Lambert and his wife Mel.

"Later this year we will open our new training centre at Sydney Olympic Park which will offer state of the art facilities for our players and give them the very best opportunity of achieving ultimate success."

They join Dylan Shiel, Tomas Bugg, Adam Kennedy, Adam Tomlinson and Matthew Buntine who announced in May that they had also re-signed for a further three years.

Earlier this week, the Giants also announced the reappointment of coach Kevin Sheedy for the 2013 season and Matthews is excited about the future of the AFL's newest club.

"These announcements give us not only stability but a real sense of optimism and excitement as we head into 2013 and what will be an important year for the Giants as we continue to build this club on and off the field," Matthews said.

"This year we signed up more than 10,000 members, opened our new home ground at Skoda Stadium and had our first two wins in Sydney and Canberra. We have shown that we play a brand of tough, competitive football and received great support from the people of Greater Western Sydney, the ACT and indeed across Australia.

"We can't wait for 2013 to start and encourage all our supporters to get on board and recommit like our coach and players have done for what should be another exciting year ahead."
