Goldstein dropped, Dees regain big guns
The Kangaroos have lost patience with Todd Goldstein while Melbourne have received a huge boost ahead of their crunch clash with Port Adelaide.
With no signs that Goldstein would turn his form around, North Melbourne have handed Majak Daw the ruck role for the team's match against Essendon on Saturday.
Jack Ziebell, Lindsay Thomas, Mitch Hibberd and Corey Wagner are the other outs for the Roos, with Jarrad Waite, Ryan Clarke, Sam Durdin and debutant Nick Larkey named to face the Bombers.
The Demons have selected Jack Viney, Jack Watts, Christian Salem, Dom Tyson and Jack Trengove, with former skipper Trengove in for his sixth AFL game since the start of 2014.
Gary Ablett will not play for Gold Coast again as he battles hamstring tightness.
