Aussie cricketers 'seeking help' from Dogs grand final hero

Western Bulldogs gun Tom Liberatore has caught the eye of the national cricket team, all because of a hilarious post-grand final interview.

In the glorious moments after the Dogs broke their 62-year premiership drought, Liberatore conducted a hilarious interview with a fan about 'winning an Ashes Test match'.

As you can see in the video above, Liberatore jokingly answered questions as if he'd been playing cricket at the MCG, rather than AFL.

"I made a hundred," Liberatore says, before talking about how he'd smashed former Test bowler Colin Miller.

The fan, who reportedly works as an Indigenous Engagement Specialist with Cricket Australia, had the CA logo on his phone case, which may have sparked Liberatore's humerous banter.

The video has since gone viral and hasn't gone unnoticed by the Aussie cricketers.

"We're trying to get a hold of Tom Liberatore", batsman George Bailey said in a press conference in South Africa, where the side is currently locked in an ODI series.

"He seems to have been locked away the last couple of days, he's been very hard to get hold of," Bailey said.

"We're desperate to hear from Libba, so mate, I know you're having a Mad Monday, as you should be, with the rest of the boys but we need your help. Any tips would be greatly appreciated."

Considering the Australians are down 2-0 after two thrashings, they would probably take the tips on board.
