Bloodied debutant kicks first goal seconds after head-clash
Port Adelaide debutant Darcy Byrne-Jones kicked his first career goal just seconds after being cut open in a sickening head-clash with a teammate.
After he was collected by teammate Sam Gray in a bit of friendly fire, Byrne-Jones picked himself up and slotted a nice goal.
Port flocked to get around the first-gamer, but they didn't get too close — the 20-year-old's face was streaming with blood.
Quickly realising his situation, Byrne-Jones ran to the bench under the blood rule.
Darcy Byrne-Jones, son of an accountant, kicks his first goal with blood pouring down his face. Not quite a chip off the old block.
